My collaboration with Atelier Forte continued after Milan Design Week 2016, for the exhibition dedicated to his career: Biologiska Museet is a museum located in Stockholm near Nordiska Museet and Wasa Museet. It’s a part of Skansen, an open air museum grounded in 1891. Inside there is a particular diorama in 360° created by artist Bruno Liljefors showing Scandinavian wildlife.
The museum, inspired by medieval Swedish stave churches was opened in 1893.
In this sense the decision was to insert the works of Duilio Forte in the diorama and throughout the museum, in such a way as to create a dreamlike and scenographic world, which mixes real and unreal animals. The study of light was decisive: dramatic lights to reinforce the scenic value and recreate the fairytale atmosphere of Swedish forests, where the architect worked for 13 years: the Exhibition is showing 13 years work in the Swedish forest in the Hallefors municipality near the old town Grythyttan.
Every year a new architecture-sculpture grow in the forest, the synergy between man and nature build year after year a land-art project. The Biologiska Museet is the perfect place to show this relationshio between man and nature.

Crows, pterodactyl trolls and dragons merge and emerge inside the museum, accompanying and terrorizing the spectator,
in what Duilio Forte calls ArkiZoic architecture
